There’s always room for one more tasty gin cocktail, so here it is! I call it “The Confessional” to give a nod to the integral splash of Benedictine included but also for the truth serum like qualities of this elixir. The botanicals in the gin marry perfectly with the herbal qualities of Benedictine. Enjoy in moderation.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz London dry gin
- 1/2 oz. Benedictine
- 3/4 oz. lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
Mixing instructions:
Shake all ingredients well and strain into chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with lemon twist. Compliments of Bev X.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 oz Amaretto
- 3/4 oz Malibu rum
- 3/4 oz Midori melon liqueur
- Fill with pineapple juice
Mixing instructions:
Mix over ice. Shake and serve.
Ingredients:
- 1.25 oz. Vodka
- .25 oz. triple sec
- 1 oz. cranberry juice
- Lemon twist garnish
Mixing instructions:
Mix in shaker with ice. Shake, strain, and serve.
Ingredients:
- 1.25 oz. spiced rum
- 12 mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon(s) sugar
- .5 oz. lime juice
- 2 oz. soda water
Mixing instructions:
Mix in tall glass with ice. Stir and serve.
Ingredients:
- 3 parts vodka
- 1 part cranberry juice
- 1 part pineapple juice
Mixing instructions:
First, add cubed ice, then add the three parts vodka then add the pineapple juice. Last but not least, add the cranberry juice for color.
3/4 OZ Fresh squeezed lime juice
1 OZ Grand Marnier, Cointreau or Triple sec
1 1/2 OZ Tequila
Add the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
For a slightly sweeter version, add a dash of agave syrup (one part water, two parts agave nectar) before shaking.
2 1/2 OZ of Gin (or Vodka)
1/2 OZ Dry Vermouth
1 Dash Orange Bitters
Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass and fill with ice.
Stir until very cold and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
